See what you can find in this carcinoma. For one thing, there are areas where mucus has accumulated ("mucus lakes") becasue the glands no longer know where to send it. The mucus will be pale-pink as it contains some protein.

This is a lung cancer derived from mucus-producing cells.

With your study partners, find:

• bizarre nuclei (this is easy)


• bizarre glands


• mucus lakes


• necrotic debris
