This is an especally important series of images, since it deals with the
cytopathology of cervical cancer. As primary care physicians, you will
perform pap smears, which the pathologist and assistants read. Almost all
deaths from cancer of the cervix can be eliminated, and fertility usually
preserved, through proper pap smear testing. This unit will acquaint you
with what we in the lab are looking at.
