Thou didst set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be shaken. The elemental plane of earth is a universe of solid rock and firm soil. "Earth plane protection" is required or visitors will be crushed flat at once. Breathing and movement require additional magics, and visitors cannot see a thing. "Airy earth" doesn't allow movement. "We're just passing through" can allow travel. Earth elementals are boring. Elementals from this plane excel at demolishing buildings. Elemental servants from this plane excel at wrecking stonework, smashing walls, and missions underground or in remote mountains. Most pech are decent and helpful. There are realms devoted to land travel, with huge subway systems. In the Third Edition, gravity is double, so that all items weigh twice as much, weapon ranges are halved, and all balance, climb, jump, ride, swim, tumble, and attack rolls are at -2. Falls do 1d10 damage / 10 feet fallen. Select encounters from among the following:

The
Ministry of Elemental Good -- Earth Ministers
The Bible refers to the earth as God's creation, a
place of stability in a chaotic, hostile universe,
a safe haven for the human race. Unlike many of the
polytheistic religions, the Judeo-Christian-Islamic
tradition proclaims that the earth was made for us,
and that God loves and cares about us.
Earth ministers offer reassurance and
protection, a stable resource in a changing world.
Many of them concern themselves
with community security. They exhort others to
the virtues of fidelity and trustworthiness. They
get a free proficiency in mining,
stonemasonry, pottery, or mountaineering (player's
choice.)
