Chordoma.
Here is another photomicrograph of one of the most dreaded of all non-cancerous tumors. If you are familiar with the microscopic appearance of embryonic notochord, you will notice the resemblance.
This particular tumor occurred in a teenaged boy. It was symptomatic for seven years, producing more and more pain and disability until it finally killed the patient.
